Happiness Abounds

                                     I love this stamp set.

Happiness abounds has happy sentiments. 😏 Brilliant right?  But not only are they happy, the font is romantic and flowing.  Very usable.

A close up of the corners shows the detail of trimming off the excess corner that is not colored in.  After I markerd in the flowers I used a blending brush to shade Mossy Meadow to tone down the white.  I didn't even mask it and it was fine.  My Directions and an additional colorway are at the end of the blog!  I hope you love it!  If you do, please let me a comment at the bottom!!  Thanks!

    Congratulations Tammy!

Adhesive of your choice

Begin by stamping with Memento ink 4 of the small flowers in the corner.  I used one open flower and one somewhat closed flowers asymmetrically. Leave some space in the corners to cut away the corner giving you a scalloped edge.  Use Dark Calypso Coral to shade the centers of the flowers, then color in all of the rest of the flower with Light Pumpkin Pie.  Outline the tops of the petals with the Dark Pumpkin Pie.  Use the blending brush and Mossy Meadow by starting off the paper and swirling onto the paper as to not get blobs.  Keep the color light as to only tint it. Use the scrap white paper and the blending brush to tint enough of the paper with Mossy Meadow to cut two of the small double leaf.  Really give yourself enough color for the leaves as they will be an accent and not to blend with the tinted background.  Also tint with Mossy Meadow the 2 x 3 white cardstock. Stamp sentiment with black ink. Use the small double leaf stamp  and VersaMark to create a background on the Cajun Craze Cardstock.  Start off the page with the stamp to give the appearance that it was cut from a larger sheet of patterned paper. Use the spiral bound edge at the top of the cajun Craze Cardstock.

To Assemble:  Place tinted sentiment centered on Night of Navy.  Arrange leaves and flowers at top.  Adhere leaves flat.  Use dimensionals to adhere flower.  Assemble this centered to the Cajun Craze cardstock and then to the 4 flowers cardstock. Place the entire set onto the Night of Navy card base.  Last, place a Gilded Gem in each corner and 3 under the sentiment.

This is an easy card layout just changing the sentiment.  Here is another card with different colors.  The bow is a nice added detail.
